"I've stayed at this hotel for several years, always booking through the front desk. Everyone says Ctrip is cheaper, but this time I booked through Ctrip, and it turned out to be 80 yuan more expensive than the hotel itself. People will definitely ask why I didn't get a refund. Because I rarely book through Ctrip, I didn't know refunds were possible. I ordered a family deluxe suite with a good view. The room I went to was terrible. I went to the front desk, and they changed it for me. It was a little bigger than the previous room, but still completely different from what I expected. When I went up, the carpet, cabinet doors, and sheets looked like they hadn't been changed in ages; there was blood on them, the floor was covered in dust, and the showerhead was practically useless. The toilet was awful. I don't even want to talk about it anymore. I'm speechless. 😓"

"I chose this place because it's incredibly close to Exit C2 of Youhao Square Metro Station, probably just over 100 meters away. It's tough to get a taxi in Dalian, and there are no shared bikes, so I ended up taking the subway back many times. That made the location my top priority. Secondly, the room was spacious, clean, tidy, and very stylish. I loved the layout. My child loves bathtubs, so I opted for a king room, and soaking in the tub was truly relaxing. This place is exceptionally modern; robots deliver food and other items. Food deliveries can't enter the elevator, which adds to the security. Every guest has a dedicated butler providing one-on-one service, including recommendations for attractions and food. It's also close to Zhongshan Square, so I often walked there to find something to eat. All in all, I stayed for four nights, ate well, slept well, found it convenient for getting around, and the service was thoughtful. I'll definitely be back!"

"The room size was quite generous, and the bedding and bathroom hygiene were decent. However, there were large, unsightly stains on the carpet that probably couldn't be cleaned, which was a real turn-off. The view was good, and it was close to the beach, perfect for catching the sunrise and sunset. Here's where the problems started. We checked in on Friday and were due to check out on Sunday. We left the hotel at 3 AM on Sunday to watch the sunrise and returned around 5 AM to get some rest. But then, starting at 9 AM, staff members repeatedly knocked on our door, even opening it despite the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. About ten minutes later, someone else knocked again. To top it off, we received a call on the landline that rang a few times and then hung up. We couldn't get any extra sleep and ended up feeling groggy for the rest of the day until check-out at noon. When I checked in, the front desk staff asked for my Hilton Honors number, promising a complimentary fruit platter. We never saw that fruit platter even by the time we left. It's not about the value of the fruit, but why offer it if you have no intention of delivering? On the day we checked in, a staff member even called to ask if I was satisfied with the room. I had just entered, how would I know if I was satisfied yet? Interestingly, no one bothered to ask if I was satisfied when we were leaving. Overall, the experience wasn't great, but the hotel's location and the room itself were quite good."

"Why only half a star? Because even a full star would feel too much to bear. Please carefully read the hotel's bizarre rules: 1. This hotel has a long history, but it's old and worn. Under the beds are old slippers and cigarette butts, the TV is dilapidated, and the pillows are a chrysanthemum-yellow. 2. The toilets are even more bizarre. There's a toilet supposedly intelligent, but after years of use, it's become... ** (unclear - possibly a typo, should be "smart"). There's also a sexy little bathtub, clearly a relic of many guests' lives. Even the shampoo and shower gel smell like something from the last century after you brush off the dust—indescribable. 3. Breakfast is on the third floor. Eggs are the most luxurious food here—one per person, and they're limited! It comes with soup noodles and rice, which taste no different from animal feed. There are also oddly shaped steamed buns and leftover cold dishes. One has to admire the hotel's frugality."

The room hygiene was meticulously maintained, with every corner spotless. Special mention goes to the older staff members at the front desk; they are steady, thorough, and their service is attentive and sincere. Room: The room was spacious and open, with plenty of power outlets, making it super convenient to charge phones and power banks at any time. Cleanliness: Excellent and thorough. I had read reviews mentioning only paper cups and was a bit hesitant, but upon arrival, I saw that in addition to regular reusable cups, they also provided paper cups! Facilities: Not brand new, but very comfortable. The only minor issue was some water accumulation in the bathroom after a long shower, but it was manageable. Overall, it offers great value for money. It's my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dalian! Outside the hotel, there are countless snack stalls, breakfast spots, and supermarkets, and the old-fashioned tram makes getting around incredibly convenient."
